PRIMEIRA PARTE

     Korzus tem know how e tocará no Rock in Rio 2011.

O KORZUS é sem dúvida um dos principais nomes da história do Metal brasileiro. Formada em 1983, e trazendo uma respeitável discografia contando seis álbuns de estúdio, dois ao vivo e um DVD, a banda conseguiu ao longo destes vinte e cinco anos de atividades fazer o seu Thrash Metal ecoar pelos quatro cantos do mundo.
             
Apesar dos aclamados álbuns "Mass Illusion" (1991) e "KZS" (1995), respectivamente acompanhados por turnês pela Europa e América do Norte, foi com o trabalho, "Ties Of Blood" (2004), que o KORZUS ofereceu uma de suas mais belas e potentes obras-primas. Neste primeiro registro full-length com o guitarrista Heros Trench e o baterista Rodrigo Oliveira, a banda apresentou um verdadeiro massacre sonoro ao longo de quatorze faixas e ainda contaram com participações especiais de grandes nomes do Metal brasileiro como Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Andre Matos (ex-Shaman, Angra e Viper) e João Gordo e Boka (Ratos de Porão).

A experiência e maestria dos membros fundadores Marcello Pompeu (vocal), Silvio Golfetti (guitarra) e Dick Siebert (baixo) aliadas ao sangue novo de Heros e Rodrigo, conseguiram fazer com que "Ties Of Blood" se tornasse o grande lançamento brasileiro de 2004, emplacando músicas como 'Guilty Silence', 'Screaming For Death' e 'Evil Sight', e mesclando de forma única o Thrash Metal 'old school' - tanto da escola Bay Area quando da européia - com uma roupagem mais moderna e agressiva.

Korzus is without a doubt one of the essential names in Brazilian Heavy Metal history.  Formed in 1983 and bringing a respectable discography including six studio albums, two live and one DVD, the band was able to make their Thrash Metal activities echo throughout the four corners of the world over the past twenty five years. 

After their acclaimed albums “Mass Illusion” (1991) and “KZS” (1995), were respectively accompanied by tours in Europe and the United States, it was with the work of “Ties Of Blood” (2004), in which KORZUS offered one of their greatest and potent recordings.  On this first full-lenght album with guitarist Heros Trench and drumer Rodrigo Oliveira, the band presented a true audio massacre together with fourteen tracks including a guest appearances of great names in Brazilian Metal such as Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Andre Matos (ex-Shaman, Angra and Viper), João Gordo and Boka (Ratos de Porão).
   
The Experience and mastery of the founding members Marcello Pompeu (Vocals), Silvio Golfetti (Guitar) and Dick Siebert (Bass) allied with the new blood of Heros and Rodrigo, they were able to make “Ties Of Blood” turn out to be one of the greatest Brazilian Releases of 2004, succeeding songs such as “Guilty Silence”, “Screaming for Death” and “Evil Sight”, while uniquely mixing the style of Old School Thrash Metal from the Bay Area and Europe while cloaking them in something more modern and agressive.
